Migrated a WordPress site to a framework-free static stack on Netlify and GitHub for a neurodivergent-owned coaching business — rebuilding the design and copy to be more inviting to neurodivergent users, and working with the client to close a security exposure along the way.
Original problems
What I did
“I gladly recommend Sean. I had the opportunity to meet Sean when he was brought in to assist with the engineering side of correcting my client’s website. Sean’s contribution resolved a security issue and a bloat of products for SEO/AEO left by the original developer at a 90% cost savings per month. My client can now receive all of his alerts that were being rerouted and blocked deep in the coding as well. Sean is timely, reliable, and quite capable due to the training and experience he brought with him. Sean is methodical, engaging, professional, and creatively logical in resolving problems. Though he was already working alongside his family businesses of Retail Therapy Unplugged and Blue Water Detailing, his freshly learned skills from his degree were evident to bring the latest industry standard knowledge. I believe in Sean so much that he is now working on my site as well. Thank you, Sean, for moving the needle forward for my client, and resolving his never-ending loop left behind by the previous website builder team. Thank you, Sean!”

How I designed an n8n pipeline of specialized LLM agents for Retail Therapy Unplugged — each with its own persona and JSON contract — that turns a one-line character description into a consistent image library, with human review at every decision point.
A full remediation case study — from a fake Java folder side-loading malware, to parsing a binary Autoruns log by hand to catch three "ghost" scheduled tasks Defender never flagged, to correctly ruling out a scary-looking hardware bug that had nothing to do with the infection.
I'm a front-end and back-end engineer. I have an M.S. in Computer Science (4.0 GPA) from CSULB and a B.S. in Computer Science & Engineering from UC Irvine. I use AI tools like Claude, ChatGPT, and n8n to build and automate quickly. I treat security and accessibility as required, not optional.
I'm autistic, and I apply through structured, neurodiversity-inclusive hiring pathways. It shapes how I work: sustained technical focus, systematic problem-solving, and direct, detail-oriented communication.
Outside of client work, I sing and serve meals to the homeless with Long Beach Bay Shore Church, and I'm based in Long Beach, CA.

Extended a published GitHub repository that removes objects from images, deploying it as a containerized service on AWS Fargate, ECS, and EC2.
Classified one-time vs. loyal buyers in anonymized shopping logs to target advertising by demographic and timing; found Parzen Windows outperformed alternative models on this data.
Reverse-engineered an undocumented Python bug-tracking tool that logs issues to a SQL database via an HTML front end, then wrote its user manual and added Google reCAPTCHA and soft-delete functionality.
Designed a custom PCB for a Bluetooth keyboard and trackpad/numpad combo, flashed with QMK firmware and configured through VIA for fully remappable layouts.
Built an information-retrieval engine to index and rank documents in a text corpus against free-form user queries.
Led a four-person team building a Java inventory system tracking products, invoices, sales, and commissions for a small electronics store.

Most projects fall into one of three buckets:
Book a 30-minute video call. Tell me what’s happening below and I’ll review it before we meet, so we spend the time fixing it. Please don’t put passwords or other sensitive data in the form — I’ll walk you through that safely on the call. I may ask to screen-share, so have the device and any error messages ready.
Not for emergencies: if your site is down or you think you’ve been hacked, email me instead at sean@seanlawrence.ai and I will help you fix it within 24 hours.
Book tech support →If you have a well-defined technical problem, I want to hear about it. If you’re still figuring out what you need, that’s fine too — send the paragraph anyway.
